Just a scenic 35-minute drive from Carbondale, visitors can experience the thrill of the Snowmass Rodeo – Colorado’s longest-running rodeo. Every Wednesday evening in the summer season (June 18 – August 20, 2025 from 5-9 pm), witness authentic Western competitions like bronc and bull riding, roping, and barrel racing. Kids can join the fun with the Calf Scramble and Mutton Busting. Arrive early for BBQ, cocktails, vendor shopping, and live entertainment. Rain or shine! Free parking available, but consider the convenient RFTA bus. Kids 2 & under can enter free of charge.
