2024 Networking Events

• Annual Business Confluence. This event, held annually on the 3rd Wednesday of September, is an opportunity for the business community to come together, share best practices, network, listen to presentations by local and regional experts, and promote their business. Each year, the conference addresses specific concerns for businesses in the current economic climate.

• Business After Hours. Business After Hours (BAH) is a free event for Carbondale Chamber members to meet, network, enjoy small bites and refreshments, and win prizes. BAH is hosted by different Chamber members each month on the third Wednesday of the month from 4-6 pm. Click here to learn about hosting BAH.

• Power Hour Luncheons. Power Hour Luncheons are educational events for business community members in various industries, held quarterly at the Third Street Center. Open to the public. There is a fee to attend the luncheon, which includes a catered lunch and the presentation. 2023 Power Hour dates yet to be announced, stay tuned!

• Weekly News: The Weekly consists of text-only submission (10 limit) with business logo and “learn more” link. Participation is FREE for Carbondale Chamber members! To submit, email 10 sentences of text or less, plus “Learn More” link and logo by 12 noon on Wednesdays (subject: “for the Weekly”) and your news will be included up to two weeks in a row.

• Monthly eFlyer: The Monthly consists of PDF flyers and “learn more” links. $15 to participate. Due to Katie by noon on the last Wednesday of the month. 

• Stand-Alone eFlyer: $120, flexible content and send date, sent as a solo ad.

Gift Certificate Program

Participating Business Brochure

Carbondale Chamber gift certificates make great gifts for employees, friends, and family, and encourage people to shop locally!

How it works: customers purchase the single-use certificates at the Chamber office and spend them at any participating Chamber member business. The member business turns the certificates in to the Chamber, then a reimbursement check or ACH payment is issued to the business by the Chamber (minus admin fee). Participating businesses are listed FREE of charge in the Participating Business Brochure, included with each certificate purchase.
