Join us for November’s First Friday, celebrating Día de los Muertos, the largest valley-wide honoring of this holiday. Contribute your mementos to the community ofrenda!

There will be performances and face-painting, a community procession and performances by Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico, Mezcla Socials Dance, Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra and more, not to be missed!

Join us for the Carbondale Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Fun Run on Thursday, November 28th. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

Race Details:

Start Time: 9:30 AM
Location: Carbondale Recreation Center
Cost: Adults (18-61) $15/$20, Youth (2-17) & Older Adults (62+) $7/$10 (pre-registration/race day)
Registration: Register online or in person at the Carbondale Rec Front Desk (Wed, Nov 27, 6 AM-5 PM)
Course: Choose from a 1-mile or 5K course. Maps available online.
Prizes: Awards for top finishers in various age groups, including a grand prize "Staycation" at the Redstone Inn and Avalanche Ranch Hot Springs passes.
Additional Information:

Costumes: We encourage festive costumes to add to the fun!
Leashed dogs: Welcome, but please keep them away from registration areas, food areas, and timing systems.
Tee shirts: Available for purchase ($40), with proceeds benefiting Shop with a Cop.
Post-race: Enjoy delicious pie slices, snacks, drinks, and awards.

Bring the family and come join the fun on Sunday, Dec. 15th for the 14th Annual Jingle Bell 5k Run and Ugly Sweater Contest. Race starts at 11:00am.

Register at shop prior to event for $20. Race day registration available for $25. Great new course this year starting at 1st Bank, our sponsorship partner, and ending at the shop with food and drinks and some great awards!!!
