The annual Hot Tubs & Hot Rods First Friday event returns with a new name, Rally Palooza! This year, we’ve expanded our hot rod entrants to include classic cars, motorcycles, electric cars & bikes, and more! Vehicles will be on display in the heart of Carbondale’s Creative District on Main Street from 5:00pm to 8:30pm, with clean up promptly before 9pm; Main Street must be fully accessible by 9pm.Find out more »

Carbondale Arts brings the community together on First Friday, November 1st for the annual celebration of Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Festivities start at 5pm at the Third Street Center (TSC) for altar viewing, face painting, Mexican hot chocolate, and traditional treats. This First Fridays in Carbondale kicks off a long tradition of holiday celebration. Santa will be coming to Carbondale for a special visit on December 6th from 5 to 9pm at The Launchpad. Santa will also light the trees on Main Street, beginning at Main and Weant followed by a fire and hot chocolate and music by the Carbondale Middle School Band on the Fourth Street Plaza.
