This event is for all levels and based around having fun! So there is no reason to avoid trying the tri. If you are nervous or want to skip an event no worries, we have you covered, or create a team.
The event will look a little different this year to comply due to COVID. We have shortened the course and the whole event will take place on the rodeo grounds. We have also added additional race options to encourage people to come out and try an event and see what all the fun is about. Each event is limited to 10 people, but don’t be discouraged, if something you want to do is full please contact us and we will see if we can add you to a different time slot.Find out more »

First Friday Carbondale has partnered with Carbondale Arts to promote the 42nd Annual Valley Visual Art Show, now open! Starting First Friday, February 5, and throughout the month, swing by The Launchpad to pick up a FREE coloring packet, and check out the show too. Plus, follow the below steps to enter to win a prize!
- Color the artwork of your choice from the coloring packet
- Tear-off and complete the contact info slip
- Take the slip to FirstBank Carbondale Branch by Friday, February 26th to be entered to win one of 25 prizes, including gift certificates to local businesses!

"Contemporary Fiber Art" is an exhibit of innovative work by award-winning fiber artists, exploring the intersection of art, nature, spirit, science, and the social and political environment, while pushing the traditional boundaries and application of fiber art. Opening April 2, 10am-7pm (8 masked visitors at a time).

Indigenous song and dance in honor by renowned native pride performer, Larry Yazzie, who will perform live flute music, storytelling, a majestical eagle dance.
Main Street between Third Street and Fourth Street will close to traffic at 4:30 P.M. – 10:30 P.M, to provide additional outdoor dining and room for social distancing. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the licensed premises. Alcohol is not permitted beyond designated areas. No alcohol is allowed on the lawn on the corner of Fourth Street and Main Street.
Please comply with the local ordinances, which require frequent hand washing, social distancing, and wearing of a mask indoors.

Dandelion Day is excited to announce our plans to bring a socially distanced community gathering with live music and local vendors to Carbondale, CO on May 8, 2021. Started by Carbondale’s Environmental Board, now part of Carbondale Arts 501c3, and partnered with KDNK, Dandelion Day is a celebration of spring, sustainability, and community in our Creative Art District. From its modest roots as a neighborhood event, this annual festival is proudly green and waste free, bringing Sopris Park and our community buzzing to life.
