"Spring Into Fun" at THE FAMILY BLOCK PARTY from 4-8 PM at 4th Street Plaza.
We'll have a variety of Carbondale organizations on site with great summer information and activities for kids and families! We'll of course have our KidZone with activities and a bounce house, courtesy of the Carbondale Recreation & Community Center, The Rosybelle bus by Carbondale Arts, arts & crafts by HANDMAKERY, and much, much more! Live music, a silent auction, craft cocktails from Roaring Fork Beer Co. & Marble Distilling Co., great local eats from Slow Groovin' BBQ, Elevated Elixirs, and more! This year, we’ve expanded our hot rod entrants to include classic cars, motorcycles, electric cars & bikes, and more! Vehicles will be on display in the heart of Carbondale’s Creative District on Main Street from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with clean up promptly before 9 pm; Main Street must be fully accessible by 9 pm.
Healing Hoof-It, a walk celebrating the helping horses who help humans heal, begins at the Gus Darien Riding Arena Rodeo Grounds at 5pm, followed by a parade down main Street, and celebration at 5:45 in the 4th Street Plaza.Find out more »

Imagine up to 100 big, multi-colored rubber balls being shuffled by youth soccer players down Main Street in downtown Carbondale during First Friday on September 6th!
Get ready for the second Running of the Balls, brought to you by Ace Hardware of Carbondale and benefiting Carbondale Rotary! Purchase adoption tickets for only $10 apiece for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000! Look for tickets for sale from our Rotarians and Mt. Carbondale Arts brings the community together on First Friday, November 1st for the annual celebration of Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Festivities start at 5pm at the Third Street Center (TSC) for altar viewing, face painting, Mexican hot chocolate, and traditional treats.
