The Confluence will be hosted at Thunder River Theatre Company in Carbondale from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. This year’s theme, “Currents in Carbondale,” will feature trends and updates on the State of Colorado from State Demography Economist Greg Totten, Garfield County with Commissioner Tom Jankovsky and County Manager Fred Jarman and updates on the Town of Carbondale with Mayor Ben Bohmfalk and Town Manager Lauren Gister. In addition, there will be updates and a panel discussion with industry leaders on key issues facing Carbondale including topics of Construction, Banking, Education, Healthcare, Financial and Real Estate.

Also part of the Confluences, there will be an evening of networking, information, small bites and more from 4 – 6 p.m. hosted by Homestead Bar & Grill.

This event coincides with Potato Day weekend.
Join us for a 50K bike ride with 2000 vertical to some of our valley’s most beautiful working ranches — all to benefit Roaring Fork Roots. Guided by Carbondale-based Aspen Cycling Tours, enjoy a fun-filled day featuring a combination of paved and gravel roads to five local ranches. Each ranch stop will feature light refreshments along with a few words from the rancher and/or local provider. The ride will finish at Aspen Valley Land Trust’s Coffman Ranch where you will join Party in the Pasture with event highlights: local farm to table bites, live music, ranch tours and other fun activities.
