2009 Annual Business Conference and Expo

Locals supporting locals and getting back to basics.
On Tuesday, October 13, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce will host our 2009 Annual Business Conference at the Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection Training Center, 301 Meadowood Drive.
In the current economic climate we have heard from our business members “it’s time to get back to basics” and the Chamber has responded with a business conference to aid businesses in doing just that. The backbone of this event is locals supporting locals, sharing best practices and discovering that all the resources for business success are available right here in this valley. Local experts have been selected to participate in panel presentations on the topics of; marketing, technology and financial planning and business strategies.
The conference will also feature a business expo that will be available concurrently with the presentations and will run after the presentations until 6:00 pm. The expo will offer business the opportunity to share with other businesses. Over 20 local businesses will be featured at the expo as well as an opportunity for attendees to meet the panelists.
The expo will conclude with a networking opportunity with appetizers from Bravo Fine Catering and beer and wine.
