Work Hard, Play Harder.
Carbondale's genuinely friendly residents and close-knit community extend visitors and new residents a hearty welcome. With our lower altitude, Carbondale's milder climate offers locals and guests longer weeks of spring, summer, and fall in which to play in the great outdoors. And play we do, with endless opportunities to cross-country ski, hike, bike, fish, and explore right in Carbondale's beautiful backyard.
