The Carbondale Comprehensive Plan Update is underway and the planning team believes that early communication with the business community and economic development advocates is paramount. Carbondale Economic Development

In the spring of 2006, the Board of Trustees (BOT) appointed the Blue Ribbon Committee (BRC) on Revenue Diversification to:

(1) Review and understand the Town’s total revenue picture including the Economic Development and Community Sustainability Plan;
(2) Understand revenue opportunities allowed by State Statutes;
(3) Develop a Revenue Diversification Strategy for the BOT to consider.
