Cowboy Up in Carbondale
Happy July!
There are many ways that visitors can experience the wild west spirit in Carbondale.
See a part of American history at its finest. Learn about the cowboy way of life and how they tended their cattle on the wide open range.
If you love horses, you MUST take the opportunity to explore our beautiful valley while horseback riding. Most outfitters run from May through September, depending on the weather and the trail conditions. There are several different rides to choose from, including breakfast rides, sunset rides, pony rides for kids and guided overnight pack trips.
Our valley is also home to the ever-popular Carbondale Wild West Rodeo that happens every Thursday evening through the summer. Be ready for big time fun watching a full scale rodeo including bull riding, calf roping, team roping, mutton busting, dally ribbon roping, calf scramble for the kids and much more.
Rustic lodging is also available to complete your western adventure.
You can always contact us & request information and also be sure to check out our events calendar. See you next month! |
