    River Valley Ranch Golf Course

Situated at the foot of Mt. Sopris, River Valley Ranch is a 520-acre residential golf and resort community nestled in the Crystal River Valley. The rolling valley floor and banks of the Crystal River unite to create a prime landscape from which to craft a magnificent mountain golf course. With the natural palette of the valley's riparian corridors, wetlands, grasses, and rolling topography, RVR was heralded as "the new jewel of the Rockies " by Golf Magazine. This Jay Morrish-designed championship course is cradled in the Crystal River Valley and includes four holes along the banks of the Crystal River, including the course's famous #7. The award-winning design also features striking bunkers, large greens, elevation changes, and water features created to take full advantage of the breath-taking mountain and Crystal River Valley views. There is a driving range, putting and chipping green, practice green, and pro shop. RVR is built on what was once a working ranch, amidst pinion trees and sagebrush, with Mt. Sopris breathing down the neck of every shot. Click here for live web camera images.
