We take kid's activities seriously here in Carbondale. Maybe it's because it seems everyone in town has one or two of them, but kids in Carbondale live the good life.

3rd Street Arts Center
Don't miss the opportunity to visit the new 3rd Street Arts Center, a "green" renovated elementary school packed full of arts for kids and adults. Visit the 3rd Street Art Center's website for information on daily activities. 

CCAH
Inside 3rd Street Center you will find Carbondale's very own Arts Council, CCAH, the soul of Carbondale. Art programs and classes are offered all the time.

Recreation Department Carbondale's very active Recreation Department puts on special events, runs seasonal sports programs and field trips for children and adults, maintains the town's trails, parks (including the North Face skatepark) and pool (located right downtown). Stop by to visit the friendly staff at Carbondale's Recreation Center, 567 Colorado Avenue, or call (970) 704-4190 to request a Recreational Brochure.
