located 170 miles west of Denver, 30
minutes from Aspen, and 12 miles from
Glenwood Springs, in the heart of Colorado's
central Rocky Mountains. At an altitude
of 6,181 feet, and resting in the magnificent shadow of 12,953-foot Mt. Sopris,
the Carbondale area is characterized by an
average of 295 days of sunshine, low humidity, cold but mild winters and

Happy May! Summer in Carbondale
is made for festivals, concerts, recreation and other great fun. And,
most of the events are free!
Our love of music has spawned season after season of performances in
venues from parks to pubs.
The Summer of Music series begins with the Lobster Fest on June 22
& 23 and culminates with Mountain Fair on July 27 - 29. Concerts continue in
Sopris Park on July 04, 15 & 22
with great bands playing from bluegrass to rock 'n roll. If you are
also looking for options right in downtown Carbondale,
join us for the CCAH Downtown Concert on August 11 and the KDNK Blues
& BBQ on August 25. You will find lots of music, delicious
barbecue, and your favorite brew.
For an exciting, yet comfortable atmosphere, live music, and unique
menu options, you must visit Carbondale.
Children are welcome and there are plenty of activities to entertain
them.
